IMPORTANT NEWS RE COVID-19 VACCINATIONS

We have been updated that The Wye Valley Practice can now offer any patient 70+ who has NOT already been offered a vaccine at one of the Mass Vaccination Clinics, an appointment at Trellech Surgery.

After discussions with ABUHB about the rollout to our over 70s patients, they are now being supplied with extra Oxford AstraZeneca to complete this group locally.

This means they can now offer any patient 70+ who has NOT already been offered a vaccine at one of the Mass Vaccination Clinics, an appointment at Trellech Surgery.

COVID-19 Clinics will be on Wednesdays and Saturdays until (& including) Weds 17th Feb.

The practice is sending out SMS / Text messages, phoning patients without mobile numbers, have updated their website and are going to send *some* letters  out.  Letters are the slowest way to contact patients, so they hope to make contact by phone calls as priority.  They will try to accommodate couples etc where both patients are 70 or over.

Please note Housebound patients are expected to be immunised by ABUHB and not the GPs
