I hereby give notice of a joint meeting of the Cemetery and Finance Committees of the above Council and summon members to attend. The meeting will be held on Thursday 5th November 2009 at 7.30pm at St Briavels School for transaction of business in the following Agenda.

4.To consider and recommend contract for minor Cemetery workTo consider progress on major Cemetery/trees project (Phase 2)

5. To consider burial charges and Cemetery policy for 2010-11

To be considered:

i) Charges

ii) Policy relating to the imposition of charge multipliers, particularly in respect of second home owners

iii) Request for a specific plot to be reserved in the interment of cremated remains section

iv) Policy in respect of the design, composition and colour of memorials

6. To review progress of the grass cutting contract

7. To discuss long term budget requirements for the major cemetery drainage project (information on relevant statutory authorities and public works loans available in additional information at the meeting). FODDC Engineer’s report enclosed for members.

8. To complete the new mandate for the Cooperative Investment account

9. To review the 2009-10 budget, income and expenditure.
