The second and final of the Cemetery Project is now complete, with the removal of the rest of the Leylandii and the clearing of the trees that were obscuring Dr Nanda’s grave.

The Council has approved its precept request for the next Financial Year (2010-2011). This will be for 2%, which represents £260.00, or approximately an additional 30p on each annual precept charge in the parish. The additional moneys are required for the Cemetery Drainage Project, and to help replenish reserves after the donations that have been agreed for the Assembly Rooms and for the Playing Fields this year.
